• Advice for recruiting Kuka robotics engineers

    Hello,

I’ve had a question come through via our legal team here in Reading. They’ve been speaking to a couple of UK manufacturers who have recently lost their robotics engineers who specialises in ‘Kuka robotics’.

They are interested in finding out-out more about how others have gone about recruiting engineers with these specialist skills.

For example, could they recommend any resources or agencies that have knowledge in this area?

    Thanks

  • Hi Amy, in answer to your post I have attached the brochure for our specialist Automation & Robotics Division. The team have extensive experience of supporting businesses of all sizes including robotics roles. We have found that by establishing a wide programme of sourcing technologies we have been able to source individuals across the automation arena. Kuka robotics and controls skilled individuals are often a requirement as one of the main robots used in manufacturing, but they are highly in demand.

I would also highlight the Level 3 qualification that can be achieved at the Make UK Technology Hub in Birmingham. This course is an excellent way of training and up-skilling individuals and I believe is already proving to be of benefit to a number of businesses.

Happy to discuss the specifics for any companies requirements on the telephone or face to face.

    Hope this helps

  • Hi, We work directly with Kuka as one of their robotic integration partners. This is a challenge and we are seeing a shortage of skills in the market place. The way in which we go about it is to develop our own talent and also support our clients to develop theirs. We have just partnered with the Liverpool City Region and will be delivering the EAL Robotics and Automation course within the north west. Happy to support in any way we can. Philippa
